Our Story
Founded in 1992, Nexus Technology Consulting (NTC) began providing tech support and general technology consulting services across New South Wales. In 1996, we relocated to Hobart, Tasmania, where we continue to operate today.
The inspiration for HealthTracker came from a deeply personal place. On her 9th birthday, one of our founder's four daughters was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. In 2011, at just 11 years old, she received her first kidney transplant — a live donor gift from her grandmother. The sheer volume of medical information — medications, appointments, test results, care team contacts — was overwhelming, and there was nothing available to help manage it all effectively.
After years of contemplating a solution, development of the HealthTracker iOS app began in 2018, built during spare moments between work and family life. Recent changes in circumstances have allowed for dedicated focus on bringing both the iOS app and web companion to completion.
